Gas Fireplace Service
We restore your fireplace to safe, reliable operation, with the goal of having it function as close to new as possible.
Routine service calls often include glass cleaning, pilot assembly, firebox and burner cleaning, millivolt testing of valve and thermopiles, battery replacements and ember replacement.
We have the technical training and parts to service most brands of fireplaces. We provide safety inspections and testing for residential homes and strata buildings.
Fireplace Troubleshooting & Repairs
Klayne is often called to upon to troubleshoot and diagnose ongoing or complex problems, which may have been unresolved from previous technicians.
We have a huge inventory of fireplace-specific parts in stock and with us in our service van. This means technical issues can often be fixed in the first visit for many common fireplace models, saving you time and money.
Patio Heater and Outdoor Fireplace Repairs
We service and repair outdoor fireplaces, freestanding patio heaters and overhead heaters.
Patio heater servicing often includes cleaning insects out of pilot orifices, adjusting and replacing electrodes and modules, cleaning burners and replacing parts as required.
We service residential and commercial patio heaters, brand specific, as per parts availability.
ABOUT US
Klayne Kozak is a licensed, bonded and insured Class B Gas Fitter in the Province of British Columbia. Klayne has over 30 years of experience servicing and repairing gas fireplaces of all makes and models, and is recognized industry-wide for his expertise and troubleshooting capabilities. Klayne is also a licensed Gas Contractor with Technical Safety BC and is certified with the Thermal Environmental Comfort Association of BC (TECA) in Ventilation Guidelines.
Klayne has been factory-trained and authorized to perform service and repairs for numerous fireplace makes and models throughout the years. These include Valor, Regency, Napoleon, Heat-n-Glo, Archgard, Envirogas. He has extensive knowledge of proper fireplace installation, code-compliant fireplace work, and Technical Safety Branch Safety Orders.
Klayne has worked with tools of all kinds since he was a child, and he has always loved problem solving and fixing things. He would sharpen blades and repair small engines in his grandpa's lawnmower, chainsaw and woodstove store in White Rock, BC.
After graduating high school, he became the owner and operator of the business. Following emerging trends, he pivoted the company from woodstove installations to gas fireplaces in the early 1990s. He received his Gas Appliance Servicing Certificate and has enjoyed the challenge of fireplace repairs ever since.
Under his strategic direction, this brick and mortar fireplace store became a huge success. It became an iconic South Surrey business over the next 25 years, trusted to install countless gas fireplaces in homes throughout our community. In 2018, Klayne decided to step back and return to his favorite kind of work of all - servicing fireplaces in client's homes. Now he appreciates visiting old friends and meeting new clients, solving fireplace problems, and helping make homes safe, warm and comfortable.
